Refund policy

Codesvendor.com is a marketplace with a buyer and a seller side. These refund rules are created with the protection of both parties in mind and apply to both buyers and sellers.

Please note that, unlike physical goods, digital goods cannot be returned. Because of this, there are different rules for refunding digital products.

When requesting a refund, please do so using the "request refund" button next to the order on your order page. More detailed information about the refund process can be found here. Please take into account that a refund can only be issued within 30 days after your purchase. You can only request a refund once, so make sure you provide all the required information. Always try to contact the seller first before requesting a refund.

In addition, approved refunds will only be issued to the same payment method used in the original purchase.

Requesting a Refund

You have the right to a refund in the following situations:

You purchased the same item twice.

If you accidentally purchased the same item twice, we are happy to refund the duplicate purchase.

The item is not working as advertised.

If an item has technical issues, you should first contact the seller. The seller should be able to resolve the issue. If this is not the case, you may request a refund if the issue is caused by a defect in the item itself and not by the environment in which the item is being used.

When requesting a refund, it is very important to provide as much detailed information as possible. This includes a clear description of the issue and any error messages that appear. Refund requests with general descriptions, such as “Doesn’t work”, will not be refunded.

Neither codesvendor.com nor the seller are required to issue a refund in the following situations:

  • You have not provided enough information to determine why you are entitled to a refund.
  • You do not have the necessary knowledge to use the item.
  • The purchased item is not working due to misconfiguration or an unsupported setup in the buyer’s environment.
  • You can no longer access the item because it has been removed from the platform.
  • The item does not meet your expectations or you simply no longer want it.
  • The refund is requested more than 30 days after purchase.
  • The product license has already been used or activated.
  • The buyer has already downloaded the product file.
    (Once the file has been downloaded, there is no right to a refund.)

License Exchange

If you purchased the wrong license, please buy the correct license within 30 days after the original purchase and contact us by submitting a ticket through our help center. We will then refund the first license.

A refund can only be given when upgrading a license. For example, when a regular license was purchased but an extended license was required. It is not possible to downgrade a license (for example, from an extended license to a regular license).

Disputing a Refund Request

If your refund request has been rejected by the seller and you believe you are entitled to a refund for any of the reasons mentioned above, you can dispute the seller’s decision. When submitting a dispute, please make sure to provide a detailed description of the situation and, in the case of a technical defect in the purchased product, a detailed description of the defect.
