Licenses Types

At Codes Vendor, we offer two main license types to fit the needs of different projects: the Standard License and the Extended License. Each one defines how you are allowed to use digital products in personal, client-based, or commercial projects.

Standard License

The Standard License is the most commonly used license on our marketplace and allows the item to be used in one single end product.

This license is ideal for:

• Personal or organizational projects
• Websites or apps that will be free for end users
• One-time client projects
• Themes, scripts, plugins, graphics, templates, 3D assets, and similar items

If your end product will be free for the end user, the Standard License is the correct option.

Additional notes about Standard License use:

• You may use the item in only one end product.
• You may distribute the end product to multiple users as long as it is free.
• You may create client work with this license, but one license = one project.

Extended License

The Extended License includes expanded permissions for more comprehensive or commercial usage.

This license is recommended for:

• Commercial or monetized projects
• Products where the end user must pay to access or use the final product
• Redistributable end products (according to the author’s specific terms)
• Paid-access platforms, membership apps, or premium downloadable products

Choose the Extended License if your end product will be sold, monetized, or require paid access from users.

License Comparison (Explained Clearly)

Here is a descriptive breakdown of how each license can be used:

✔ Number of end products allowed
Both the Standard and Extended License allow usage in one end product only.

✔ Use in a free end product
Both licenses allow you to create a product that is free for users.

✔ Use in a paid or monetized end product
Only the Extended License allows this.
The Standard License cannot be used in anything that charges end users.

✔ On-demand or “made to order” apps/tools
You must purchase one license per each customized end product.
The Extended License does not allow open-ended on-demand generation tools.

✔ Use in stock items/templates for resale
Neither license allows repackaging or selling the item as a template or stock asset.

Important Notes

✔ For freelancers and agencies
You may create a project for a client under the Standard License; however, the same license cannot be reused for multiple clients or projects. Every new project requires its own license.

✔ Before purchasing
Each product includes a detailed description of its specific licensing terms.
